hello 2026.

The new year is finally here, and who knew so much could happen in just eleven days?

I don’t know about anyone else, but my 2026 is already off to a racing start, with pretty much every day so far having been packed full with work, activities, home projects, and more. Regretfully I haven’t spent any time yet so far this year writing outside of a few hundred words here and there, but that' doesn’t mean I haven’t been doing book related things.

In fact, the thing I’ve been working on the most is preparations for Before the Lotus Blooms Advanced Reader Copies to go out in just a few days on the 20th of January. It’s hard to believe it’s already that time! But as the ARC readers list grows longer, the more antsy I am to get the book out there for the world to see. I couldn’t be prouder of the finished novel!

As I wrap up the final details on BTLB, my time should hopefully be freed up to start putting some more energy into my next projects, mentioned in the blog post previous; Tales of Angaride Book 3, BOTJK and Project Beaver. If you happen to be an ARC reader, look forward to seeing the full title for book 3 at the end of Before the Lotus Blooms! If you didn’t get signed up in time for an ARC, you’ll have to wait for the official announcement in March.

This post will remain short as I still have much to do to ensure a smooth release for BTLB, and I don’t have much to share yet on the next projects, but look forward to early spring and follow along via instagram or through the blog to learn more about what I have in the pipeline. I promise it’s going to be great.

I hope to have you all along for the ride in 2026, and here’s to a year full of accomplishment.
